Getting started

Create a private journey, switch between journeys, and find your way around the dashboard without filling every module on day one.

What this is for

MySurrogacy is your private journey workspace. The Home dashboard gives a calm overview: recent activity, costs at a glance, open questions, and gentle prompts for what might need attention next.

You do not need to use every module immediately. Many people start with Notes or Questions while still comparing countries or agencies, then add Costs and Documents when contracts and invoices arrive.

Creating your first journey

  1. Create an account and sign in.
  2. Start a new journey with a name you will recognize (for example, 2026 Colombia journey).
  3. Open the modules that matter today. You can return anytime.

If you are still researching destinations, try the Country Finder before or alongside your journey workspace.

Switching between journeys

If you manage more than one path (for example, comparing two countries in parallel, or archiving a completed journey while starting another), use the journey switcher in the sidebar. Each journey is fully separate: contacts, notes, costs, and documents do not mix.

Home dashboard

Home summarizes what is happening across modules. It is a starting point, not a task manager. Use it to notice overdue payments, unanswered questions, or milestones that may need an update.

From Home you can jump into any section. If something looks empty, that is normal early on.

Search

The sidebar search looks across notes, questions, contacts, documents, and other journey content. It helps when you remember a keyword but not which module you used.

Recommended patterns

  • Capture agency updates in Notes as they arrive; link the coordinator contact when helpful.
  • Move open questions into Questions so follow-ups do not get lost in chat scrollback.
  • Add Costs when you receive a quote or invoice, not before you have real numbers.
  • Upload signed contracts to Documents and link them to budget lines when relevant.
