Calendar

See dated items from across your journey, add manual events, and review calendar suggestions extracted from notes before anything is created.

What the calendar shows

The calendar brings together dated items from across your journey: manual calendar events, milestones, payments, notes (when enabled), and other modules with dates. It is your internal planning view inside MySurrogacy.

An external calendar subscription (for example, syncing to Apple Calendar or Google Calendar) is planned for a future phase and is not available yet. When it ships, it will use a private link you can revoke.

Views and filters

  • Month — scan the full month at a glance.
  • Week — focus on the next few days with times when set.
  • Upcoming list — chronological list of what is next.

Filters let you show or hide item types (for example, notes on, documents off by default). Turn filters on when you want a fuller picture; turn them off to reduce noise.

Manual calendar events

Use Add event for appointments that do not belong elsewhere, or when you want a clean calendar label. Key fields:

Field Meaning
Title What you will see on the calendar (for example, Monitoring appointment).
Start / end Date and optional time. All-day events omit time.
Status Confirmed, Tentative, or Cancelled. Cancelled events are hidden by default.
Exact vs estimated Mark estimated when the date is approximate (for example, transfer around June 20).
Timezone Events use your journey timezone when set, otherwise sensible defaults. See Settings.

Backfill from notes

Agency updates often arrive in WhatsApp or email and get copied into Notes. Backfill scans notes for credible date and event patterns and shows suggestions. Nothing is created until you confirm each suggestion.

  1. Open Calendar and choose Backfill from existing notes, or after a conversation import choose Review dates from this import.
  2. Review each suggestion: title, date, source quote, and linked note.
  3. Confirm to create a calendar event, or skip if the date was informational only.

Example: a note saying Monitoring appointment on June 10 at 8:00 AM Colombia time may suggest an event on that date. A vague we will let you know next week message should not produce a precise calendar entry.

Duplicate warnings

If a suggested event looks similar to an existing milestone, payment date, or calendar event, you will see a warning before confirming. This helps avoid double-booking the same appointment under different names.

Payments on the calendar

When payment filters are enabled, due dates and paid dates can appear. If due and paid fall on the same day, a single item is shown.

FAQ

Does backfill create events automatically?
No. You review and confirm each suggestion. Skipped suggestions are not saved.
Can I sync to Apple or Google Calendar?
Not yet. Internal calendar only for now; external subscription is planned for a later phase.
