Milestones
Track major steps across clinic, legal, pregnancy, birth, and post-birth stages with planned and actual dates.
What milestones are for
Milestones track major steps across clinic, agency, legal, pregnancy, birth, and post-birth stages. Statuses show what is planned, in progress, or done without losing history.
Key fields
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Title | What happened or will happen (for example, Embryo transfer). |
| Status | Planned, in progress, done, or cancelled. |
| Expected date / label | Exact date or fuzzy text like around June 20 when timing is uncertain. |
| Actual date | When it really happened. Leave blank until confirmed. |
| Scope | Journey-wide or tied to a specific child track when you run parallel pregnancies. |
Recommended usage
- Add milestones when you know a step exists, even if the date is fuzzy.
- Update actual dates when clinic or agency confirms them.
- Link notes to milestones for context on what changed and why.
Calendar connection
Milestones with dates can appear on your Calendar when milestone filters are enabled. Fuzzy labels stay on the milestone itself until you have an exact date.
FAQ
- Do completed milestones disappear?
- No. They stay available for reference; the list may collapse completed items for clarity.
- Can I use text instead of a date?
- Yes. Use an expected label for fuzzy timing until you have a confirmed date.
