Capture calls, agency updates, decisions, and reminders. Link notes to contacts, milestones, or payments and search across your journey.
What notes are for
Notes are flexible captures: agency updates, call summaries, impressions, travel logistics, and decisions. There is no single required format. Plain text is fine; paste from email or chat works.
Note types
- Update — general journey news or messages copied from coordinators.
- Decision note — record why you chose something, for your future self.
Important fields
| Field | Meaning |

| Message date | When the message or event happened, not necessarily when you typed the note. Used to interpret relative phrases like tomorrow during calendar backfill. |
| Channel | Optional: WhatsApp, email, call, etc. |
| Linked contact | Tie the note to an agency coordinator, clinic, or lawyer. |
| Linked milestone / payment | Connect context when the note relates to a specific step or invoice. |
| Scope | Journey-wide or child-specific when you track parallel pregnancies. |
Search
Use the journey search or Notes list filters to find older updates. Keywords from agency messages often appear only once; capturing them in Notes beats scrolling chat history.
Calendar date review
After saving a note with dates, you can review calendar suggestions from the Calendar module or run backfill across all notes. See Calendar help for confirmation and duplicate rules.
Import conversation
For long WhatsApp threads, use Import conversation instead of pasting line by line. You still review every candidate before it becomes a note.

- Should I set message date on every note?
- Set it when the note copies a dated message or when relative dates matter for calendar backfill.
- Can I paste from WhatsApp?
- Yes. Plain text paste works. For long threads, consider Import conversation.
